I want to start by thanking you all for the support that you have been showing to Haiti. Each and everyone did something special and continue to do so in order to make a contribution (pray, think positive, comment, donations, etc..)
I admire the enterprises, organizations and individuals who are gathering whatever they can to help. It proves that everyone is animated by a sense of solidarity and love for every human being regardless the ethnicity, continent or country. I pray that you keep on helping in your own way because thousands of people will be relieved in some way.
I am personally affected by the event although my family was not a victim. Nevertheless, every haitian is in some way a member of my family and a friend. It is extremely sad to know that so many people are in sorrow and are dying in such a tragic way. Imagine children, ill people, parents, elders…Imagine buildings full of people collapsing in a second…Imagine the pain and the sorrow…
It is unnecessary to keep posting so many painful pictures of dead bodies, of Haiti’s wounds because most of the time if not all the time, the media is focusing on the problems and the places in bad conditions. I’ve put together pictures and I am publishing them so that you can have a glance at the beauty of Haiti:

Hi Frederick! Are you alright? Injured? Is you family alright? When I saw this… I was shocked and I’ve contacted the donation centre and gave them 1500 pounds. That is all I can do for now… but, it is worth the chance to provide medical aids and treatment…
I heard from my family and they are still alive and our house is ok. But the situation it’s so crucial..:(
I’m so sad to know that people are still dying and really need help. Actually, I’m receiving calls and mails so I will keep in touch and publish very soon a better way to help people out there….
Actually, American Red Cross is searching for US citizens only. What kind of help is that?
Polo, thank you for posting this, especially the reminder of Haiti before the earthquake. It is so hard to imagine what such a beautiful place looks like now, and why Haiti always seems to have these disasters. But I know that as always the Haitian people will stay strong and make it through this tragedy. They always have.
I am glad too that your family is safe, and I wish you all the best as you are away from them during this time. Stay strong my friend!
@Patricia Yes as always we Haitian people will stay strong and make it through this tragedy enven if we won’t forget the pain and suffering.
