Hace poco que la versión Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala está disponible y yo acabo de actualizar mi versión. Todaviá no he hecho gran cosa pero todo va de maravilla.

Al decidir cambiar al Software libre los usuarios de Windows deben tener en cuenta que es necesario cambiarse paso a paso. Así que les aconsejo tener Windows y Linux a la vez hasta que se acostumbren y migran definitivamente según las necesidades.
